Two Southeast Asian sides, 60 000 seats
King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah holds 60 000 and is the second-largest venue of the tournament. It gets Thailand against Indonesia on the final matchday, which is a fixture with a great deal of history behind it in Southeast Asia and very little at this competition: this is a ninth Asian Cup for Thailand and a sixth for Indonesia, and neither has ever reached a final.
Thailand carry a third place from 1972 that no campaign since has approached. Indonesia carry a round of 16 place from 2023, their first knockout match at an Asian Cup and their fifth appearance. Both records are thin next to Japan and Qatar; against each other they are evenly matched.
With the holders and the record champions playing simultaneously in Riyadh, this is probably the match that decides third place in Group F, and third place is worth something: four of the six third-placed teams reach the round of 16.
