How to watch the AFC Asian Cup 2027

Every one of the 51 matches will be shown somewhere, on a TV channel or as a live stream. Which service carries it depends on the country you are watching from. This page covers how coverage is organised, and what to do when nobody near you has the rights.

How Asian Cup coverage is organised

The AFC sells the tournament territory by territory rather than as one global package. A broadcaster buys the rights for a single country. That one deal then decides everything a viewer cares about: which TV channel shows the match, whether a subscription is needed, and whether the games go out free to air or sit behind a paywall.

That is why the same fixture can be free on national television in one country and locked to a paid streaming tier in the country next door. It is also why there is no single answer to "where is the Asian Cup on" that holds everywhere.

What is settled for 2027, and what is not

The football is settled. All 24 teams are known, the AFC made the draw on 9 May 2026, and the full schedule of 51 matches across eight stadiums in Riyadh, Jeddah and Khobar is confirmed. What is not settled everywhere is the broadcast map. No Asian Cup 2027 live stream or television deal is final until it is announced, territory by territory, and those announcements run through the months before kick-off. Several of the biggest markets will be confirmed only in late 2026.

Rather than guess, this page lists what carried the previous edition and updates as each 2027 deal is announced. The full schedule links every match to its own page, where the viewing options for that fixture are listed.

Watch every match without a local broadcaster

If nobody in your country has bought the rights, or the rights holder puts the match behind a subscription you do not want, our partner streams the whole tournament to registered users in supported countries.

The 2023 map, not a 2027 announcement. Rights are re-tendered for every edition; each line is replaced here as the 2027 deal is confirmed.

Kick-off times and time zones

Saudi Arabia runs on UTC+3 with no daylight saving, so an evening match in Riyadh lands in the small hours in East Asia and in the afternoon across Europe. The AFC has confirmed the dates and venues for all 51 matches; the kick-off times are published separately and are added to the schedule here as soon as they are official.

Watching from another country

Coverage is tied to where you are, not to where you are from, so a subscription that works at home may not travel with you. The partner link on this page routes to whichever service carries the tournament in the country you are actually in, so it works on your real location and needs nothing else set up.

Is the Asian Cup free to watch?

In some countries, yes. Australia showed Socceroos matches free to air on Network 10 in 2023, and selected matches went out on the official AFC YouTube channel. In most territories the tournament sits with a paid broadcaster.

How many matches are there in total?

Fifty-one: 36 in the group stage, eight in the round of 16, four quarter-finals, two semi-finals and the final. There is no third-place play-off.

When do the 2027 broadcast deals get announced?

Territory by territory, over the months before the tournament. The 2023 edition had several major markets confirmed only weeks before the opening match.

Do I need a subscription to watch through your partner?

No. Streams are available to registered users in supported countries and no deposit is required to watch.
