From nowhere to the final

Jordan reached the final in 2023 and lost it to Qatar. Nothing in their previous five appearances suggested it was coming: they had never gone past the quarter-finals, and the run to the final included wins over Iraq and South Korea that were not supposed to happen.

The question 2027 asks is whether that was a tournament or a level. Most of the squad that reached that final is still available, and this time Jordan arrive as a side other teams plan for rather than one they overlook. Group B gives them Uzbekistan, Bahrain and North Korea to answer it against.
